MY TIPS - MILAN, ITALY
- My Tips - Milan start with an event. Every Thursday from 19.30 to 23, I organize a language aperitif with friends at Caffè Etniko (Via Maggi 14). It is a very popular event with locals and travellers. Anyone who wants to practice languages and get to know some nice people is welcome!
- In the heart of Parco Sempione there is a very beautiful library, built in the 1950s with the reinforced concrete technique. It has outdoor tables where you can freely read / study. (Mon-Wed-Fri 14-19; Tue-Thu 10-19; Sat 10-18)
- In via Torino, a stone's throw from the Duomo, there is the church of Santa Maria in San Satiro. In this church, kept open thanks to the Touring Club volunteers, there is a fake choir made by Bramante which is a true masterpiece of Italian Renaissance perspective painting
- Not far from the yellow metro station Lodi TIBB there is a small bookshop, La Scatola Lilla, idea of the enchanting bookseller Cristina di Canio, always ready to give reading suggestions and constantly busy organizing events and books presentations
